Electro Lubers are highly adjustable, single point automatic greasers. They can be adjusted to deliver the contents of the unit from a duration of one month to twelve months by using a series of seven small DIP switches. This assures controlled application and minimal waste. Electro Lubers can be provided with 76 different greases from the factory. Additionally, these units can be custom filled with any type of grease or heavy oils.
Electro lubers are particularly well suited for difficult to access areas, confined spaces, and hazardous locations. However, due to their inexpensive pricing, they are cost effective when considering man hours on almost any application. Best of all, when Electro Lubers are installed you never have to worry about a missed grease fitting for a year.
Working Principle
When one or a combination of selector switches are turned on, an electro- chemical reactor cell is activated. This begines an electro-chemical reaction whereby electrical energy is converted into nitrogen gas. The gas is trapped in a hermetically sealed bellows type gas chanmber. As the gas is produced, an internal pressure builds up, which is applied against a piston. The piston then forced the lubricant out of the cylinder and into the lube point. The strength and the electrical current determines the amount of gas produced, which in turn, controls the rate of lubricant flow and the length of time the Electro- Luber will operate.
